This document will describe how to setup your web-hosting-site email account with outlook express.

1. Open up outlook express, this is usually in Start->All Programs->Outlook Express
2. Click on the Tools menu followed by accounts.
   

   

3. This will open up the internet accounts window. In this window click add then from the menu select mail.
   
4.   Add your name (in this example I have used John Smith) and click Next
   
5. Enter your email address that you got from Web-Hosting-Site, the example here is jsmith@n-dimensional.co.uk and then click Next.
   
6. From the dropdown box select IMAP such that the sentence says My incomming mail server is a IMAP server. Set the incomming mail server to mail.n-dimensional.co.uk and the outgoing mail server to mail.n-dimensional.co.uk. Finally press next.
   
7. Enter the account name (this is the same as your email address) in this case the email address is jsmith@n-dimensional.co.uk so our account name is also jsmith@n-dimensional.co.uk. Then enter your password provided to you with your email address and tick the remember password box. Finally Click Next.
   
8. Click the finish button.
   
   
9. Go back to tools->accounts in the menu (see step 2).
10. Select the new account (in this case its mail.n-dimensional.co.uk) and hit properties.
    
11. Select the servers tab and tick the My server requires authentication box in the outgoing mail server settings. Finally press OK.
    
12. Press Close.
    
13. Press yes to 'Would you like to download folders from the mail server you added.
    
14. Press OK to the show/hide imap folders box.
    
15. Click send recieve to pull down any email you have in your account. Your mail will appear in the mail.n-dimensional.co.uk folder NOT the local folders.
    
16. Congratulations, if you have any email in your account it will now download, you have completed setting up your email account! Well done!
